Dalton police department hosts police academy

If you’ve ever been interested to see what it takes to be a police officer, Dalton police department in Berkshire County is offering a citizen’s police academy.

The classes begin on Tuesday September 27^th and run from 6-8 p.m. every Tuesday for ten weeks.

They will talk about topics such as basic law and procedure, drug identification, finger printing, and more.

Applicants must be 18 years old and applications are due September 1st.
