A Schenectady County man gets probation for stealing materials needed to make dental prostheses used at the VA hospital in Albany.
Arthur Hanvey from Delanson was sentenced to probation for stealing precious metals when he worked at the Stratton Veterans Administration Dental Clinic.
Hanvey, 65, admitted that while employed at the clinic he stole the metals and alloys used to make crowns, bridges and other dental prostheses to make a profit, investigators said.
Hanvey has been required to pay more than $13,000 in restitution.
