Districts reminding drivers to slow down as new school year begins

School begins next week in the Capital Region and districts across the area are reminding people to slow down in school zones.

Assemblywoman Patricia Fahy joined local lawmakers in Guilderland on Thursday morning to stress the importance of driving carefully by schools.

The Guilderland School District also highlighted a newly constructed sidewalk next to Pine Bush Elementary School. It connects the northern part of the town to the school.
