Dog abandoned in Troy

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is seeking the person responsible for abandoning a dog in Troy.

The society responded to a report of an elderly mixed-breed dog abandoned at the Hudson Pointe Apartments at 2 Stanton St. The dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian hospital for evaluation.

The dog, now named Blaine, is being treated and evaluated by MHHS staff.
