Downtown Albany Street temporarily renamed

The city of Albany is temporarily renaming North Pearl Street to be called Moe Street as the band returns there to the Palace Theatre to begin a two-night performance.

It coincides with the city’s fifth annual Moe Day and celebrates the band’s early days living together on Central Avenue in the ’90s.
Moe’s guitarist says the band is humbled and deeply honored and have been blown away by the support Albany has shown them.
Following Moe’s appearances in Albany this weekend, the next leg of the band’s tour will center around the southeast, starting in Florida.
