Guilty plea in Berkshire County crash

A 29-year-old man has admitted to driving drunk before a crash that killed a high school English teacher.

The Berkshire Eagle is reporting that in Berkshire Superior Court on Thursday, Cameron Taylor-Boland pleaded guilty to negligent motor vehicle homicide.

In May 2023, he was driving drunk on Dalton Avenue when he crashed into another car.

The driver of that car, John Cicchetti, died from his injuries days later.

He was a longtime educator at Wahconah Regional High School.
