A Duanesburg man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a Colonie gas station over the weekend.
Luke S. White, 23, is accused of walking into the Sunoco gas station at 616 Broadway just before 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. White, who was wearing a mask, displayed a gun and demanded money, Colonie Police said.
The clerk complied and handed over $800. White then allegedly ran away. No one was hurt.
Multiple witnesses and residents in the area were able to provide a description of White. He was arrested on Monday, Jan. 27 at his home without incident. A search of his home found clothes during the robbery and an imitation pistol that he displayed, according to police.
White was charged with first-degree robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and petit larceny. He was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and sent to Albany County Jail pending a preliminary hearing.
Anyone with information on the investigation is asked to call the Colonie Police Investigations Division at 518-783-2754.
