Eight arrested after Bennington raid on drug, weapons charges

Eight people have been arrested after a raid on a Bennington home.

Bennington Police and other agencies searched 527 South St. on Wednesday just before 3 p.m.

Police found drugs and drug paraphernalia, a pistol with an extended magazine and $5,000 in cash, they said.

Darren Dwyer, 33; Amanda Gibbons, 40; Tia Woodin, 40; Kayla Willette, 34; Billie Jean Adams, 30; Nathan Silva, 33; Reina Sosa, 19 and Jordan Feliciano, 31, now face several charges and various penalties.

The Department of Homeland Security Investigations, Vermont National Guard Counterdrug, Bennington County State’s Attorney’s Office, Bennington County Sheriff’s Office and United Counseling Service.
