Excitement builds for Vice President Kamala Harris’ Pittsfield visit
Vice President and presumed Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris will stop in Pittsfield on Saturday.
It’s not often a top Democrat visits a blue state like Massachusetts. It’s putting Berkshire County on the map.
Harris is expected to be part of an event at the Colonial Theatre.
Many residents are thrilled Berkshire County is getting national attention and support.
Doors to the theatre open at noon Saturday. The event will start at around 1:20 p.m. and end at 2:40 p.m.
Speakers include Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick. There will also be performances by Yo-Yo Ma and James Taylor.
The event is sold out. Guests are asked to arrive on time.
