The New York State Education Department has opened an exhibit filled with student work about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The exhibit features art and essays inspired by Dr. King’s commitment to nonviolent advocacy.
More than 1,700 pieces of art were submitted from 98 public and private schools.
