NewsChannel 13’s Kumi Tucker broke the news FIRST ON 13 on Monday that investigators were at an apartment building related to this 2008 case.
A person of interest lived there at the time of Ackernecht’s disappearance, police said. He does not live there now.
Ackernecht was last seen 16 years ago as she was leaving work at the Rite Aid in Amsterdam. Her car was found on fire the next day.
