A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with Albany's second homicide of the year, Albany Police announced on Thursday.

The teen allegedly shot and killed 21-year-old Quadair Hoffler on the 200 block of Yates Street near South Lake Avenue. Police found Hoffler on Feb. 10 around 1:40 a.m. unresponsive in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect’s name is not being released because of his age. He was arrested in Virginia with the help of U.S. Marshals.
He has been charged with second-degree murder and was scheduled to be arraigned in Albany County Family Court on Thursday afternoon.
A second 15-year-old male was also arrested on March 19 in South Carolina in connection with this incident on March 19, police said. He is awaiting extradition to New York.
