Fire engulfs home being built in Wilton

A home under construction in Wilton caught fire, early Monday morning.
The call came in at about 12:40 a.m. on Edie Road. Pictures shared by the Wilton Fire Department on Facebook show the under construction home fully engulfed.
Firefighters are looking into the possibility that a heating unit was left running.
The department says they had assistance from Gansevoort Fire Department and Greenfield Fire Departments and the scene was clear just before 4 a.m.
