An update on the Great Barrington wildfire.

Crews have created a firebreak around the perimeter of the fire.

That is a manmade or natural gap in the forest designed to stop the fire from spreading.

Crews say the fire appears to be contained within this area.

However, fire officials say the area is not safe to walk in and they are urging everyone to avoid it.
