Firefighters in Albany were battling a house fire on Tuesday afternoon. The call came in just after 2:45 p.m.

The fire began at 610 Third St. and spread to 608 Third St., according to firefighters. The wind and cold has been creating some challenges, they said.

While 610 Third St. is officially vacant, some squatters were inside, firefighters said. Meanwhile, it’s believed around 10 people live at 608 Third St.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.
