Scotia cancels fireworks at Jumpin’ Jack’s

There will be no fireworks at Jumpin’ Jack’s in Scotia this year.

The event – scheduled for June 30 this year – was sponsored by Jumpin’ Jack’s in the past. However, it has since transitioned to a village-sponsored event.

Now the village of Scotia says there simply aren’t enough resources to make sure everyone’s safe.

The Freedom Park concert with Joe Adee and the LugNuts, plus the Ski Team Show, will go on as scheduled.
