The driver of the bus that rolled over in Lake George in January, killing one person and injuring 11 others, has been ticketed for driving too fast.

NewsChannel 13 has learned that Isaac Otuoyo, from Perth Amboy, New Jersey, has been cited for three violations: imprudent speed, a changing lane hazard, and driving on the shoulder.

The crash happened early in the afternoon on January 5. A bus operated by Flix was on its way from Montreal to New York City, when it rolled off the side of the Northway in Lake George. Twenty-two passengers were on board. A 74-year-old woman from Montreal died in the crash.

State Police have not brought criminal charges, instead citing the driver for traffic violations.

Otuoyo is scheduled to appear in Lake George Town Court on Thursday.
