FIRST ON 13: Police looking for man they say caused Whitehall fire

Police are searching for a man who is believed to have started a huge fire in Whitehall that destroyed one home and damaged another. 

NewsChannel 13 anchor Mark Mulholland has learned that Washington County Sheriff’s investigators have gotten an arrest warrant for Garrett Bard of Whitehall. 

They believe he started the fire at 28 Mountain St. on Nov. 10 that spread from that home to another and into the mountain behind the home. It left nearly a dozen people without a place to live. 

Bard is 30 years old. Investigators are asking anyone who knows where he is to call them.
