Officials celebrated Chairman Joanne Cunningham in Albany on Monday.
She had been serving as the chief executive director of the Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare.
Cunningham also served on the Bethlehem Central School District Board of Education and has been the chairwoman of the Bethlehem Democratic Committee since 2018.
She is taking over for Democrat Andrew Joyce, who has served as chairman since 2018.
