Florida man accused of stealing safe from Pittsfield car dealership

A Florida man is accused of stealing a safe from Pittsfield car dealership.

Joseph Demary, 48, allegedly broke into a dealership in Pittsfield on Sunday evening and took the safe with him.

Officers said they searched a room at The Berkshire Inn and found evidence related to the break-in.

He was charged with breaking and entering.

Deary was also wanted on a warrant in Great Barrington.
