Former UAlbany track star competes in Paris Olympics

A former UAlbany track-and-field star got the chance to compete in Paris on Monday.

Grace Claxton, who represents Puerto Rico, ran the 400 meter hurdles in 55.94 seconds.

She finished fourth in her group and did not qualify for the semifinals.

This is Claxton’s second Olympic games. She is the first woman from UAlbany to be an Olympian.
