Fourth suspect in Columbia County gang assault turns himself in

The fourth suspect wanted in a gang assault in Columbia County has turned himself in.

William Metz, was part of a group who allegedly beat up a person on Jan. 10. State Police said it happened on Main Street around 2:40 a.m. in the town of Philmont.

The victim told police that four people assaulted him and fled the scene.

Metz turned himself in at the Livingston State Police station. He was charged with gang assault and assault. He was arraigned in Claverack Town Court and sent to Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.

The three other suspects were arrested on Jan. 11.

Victoria F. Mannino, 51, of Germantown, Andrea R. Bogucki, 46, of Claverack, and Natasha Montague, 41, of Catskill, have also been charged in connection with the assault.
