Ghent man charged with vehicular homicide in Claverack crash

A Ghent man was charged with vehicular homicide in connection with a deadly crash in Claverack on Tuesday night.
Kenttory Brown, 38, was driving on Route 66, when he crossed the center line and hit another car head on, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said.
The driver of that car – Stephanie DeForest, died from her injuries at Albany Medical Center.
A passenger, Homer Snyder, 57, died at the scene.
An 8-year-old child was also in the car hit. The child was treated at Albany Medical Center and released.
Brown is charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular manslaughter and DWI. He was sent to the Columbia County Jail.
