Gillibrand, Schumer ask for federal aid to help farmers after cold snap

U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand are calling on the Department of Agriculture to provide relief to vineyards, farms, and orchards.
Some experienced major crop damage from the extreme cold weather earlier this month, across the state.
The cold weather destroyed thousands of acres of grapes and apples.
