Glens Falls man gets 25 years in prison for child pornography

A Glens Falls man was sentenced on Tuesday to 25 years in prison for distributing child pornography.

Nobert Morgan, 54, created and used multiple unauthorized accounts on numerous social networking applications to distribute hundreds of images of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. This happened between February 2023 and August 2023 after he was released from prison for 2006 child pornography and child sexual exploitation convictions.

A search of his apartment found a tablet with thousands of images and nearly 200 videos of child pornography, investigators said.

Morgan pleaded guilty earlier this year in federal court.

After his release, he will be required to register as a sex offender and pay restitution to the 13 identified victims of his crimes.
