Gloversville man accused of child rape

State Police arrested a Gloversville man on Monday for allegedly raping a child under the age of 17.

Lee D. Horning Jr., 36, is accused of having unwanted sexual contact with the child on multiple occasions in August and September of this year while in the town of Edinburg.

Horning was charged with two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned in Milton Town Court and sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond, or a $250,000 partially secured bond.
