Gloversville man gets 10 years in prison on federal drug charges
A Gloversville man was sentenced on Thursday to 10 years in prison on federal drug charges.
Lamont McWhite, 51, previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, cocaine base and fentanyl.
McWhite admitted that he distributed cocaine on four occasions between June and August 2022, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He also possessed and intended to distribute around 292 grams of methamphetamine, 506 grams of cocaine, 49 grams of cocaine base and 37 grams of fentanyl, according to prosecutors.
