Gloversville man gets 13 years in prison for burglary
A Gloversville man was sentenced on Wednesday to 13 years in prison for burglary.
Joshua L. Litchfield, 34, was one of three people arrested in 2023 after police said they entered a home in Bleeker and demanded money from the resident. Litchfield had reportedly displayed a weapon.
He left the scene but was arrested the next day by State Police.
Litchfield was convicted following a jury trial in June on charges of robbery, burglary and grand larceny.
He also received a sentence of 2 1/3 to 7 years on the robbery and grand larceny charges. Those sentences will run concurrent to the burglary charge.
Litchfield also must serve 5 years of post-release supervision.
