And, Governor Hochul has announced the start of the second phase of her plan to allow third parties to offer the commercial driver license road test.
The idea is to create more testing locations.
In January, certain agencies and authorities started working with the DMV to become certified.
Now, the state is allowing any qualified third-party entities in New York, including school bus, tour bus, and trucking companies, to administer commercial driver’s license road tests.
