Governor Kathy Hochul was in Harlem this weekend for a rally to celebrate Black History Month.

The Governor was invited to speak on her administration’s policy agenda for b lack communities throughout the state.

She praised the activists of the past and thanked those helping to push the movement forward.

Hochul also acknowledged that there is still more work to be done.

One of her top priorities in this year’s budget is the infant and maternal mortality crisis.
