Guilderland Police arrest three in shots-fired incident Sunday morning
Guilderland Police arrested Jason A. Peck 41, of Guilderland, Martin R. Dipardo, 43, of Guilderland, and a juvenile male for a shots-fired incident early Sunday morning.
Police say this incident has been linked to similar shots fired calls in the same area and at Peck and Dipardo’s residence in Guilderland.
Around 1:14 a.m., Guilderland PD were called for a shots-fired report at Frenches Hollow Road and the Watervliet Reservoir.
Upon arrival, they located the three males in a pick-up truck, which they discovered a loaded handgun next to the vehicle, said police.
After investigation, police determined the handgun to be stolen out of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Police conducted a search warrant at Guilderland residence afterwards, which Peck and Dipardo were both associated with, and authorities collected additional evidence.
Peck was charged with the following:
- Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Third-degree criminal possession of stolen property (convicted felon in possession of a stolen weapon)
- Fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
- Endangering the welfare of a child
Dipardo was charged with the following:
- Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
- Endangering the welfare of a child
The juvenile male was charged with the following:
- Second-degree criminal possesion of a weapon
- Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property
Peck and Dipardo were both arraigned in Guilderland Town Court and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility.
Guilderland Police say this is an ongoing investigation and additional charges are to follow. They ask to contact their Criminal Investigations Unit if anyone has additional information.
