Guilderland quadruple homicide stumps investigators 10 years later
State Police are continuing to investigate the quadruple homicide that happened 10 years ago in Guilderland.
Investigators responded to a home on Western Avenue on Oct. 8, 2014.
Police found the bodies of 7-year-old Eddy Chen, 10-year-old Anthony Chen and their parents, Hai Yan Li, and Jin Feng Chen, who were brutally murdered.
A source told NewsChannel 13 at the time that the family was killed using a hammer and knives. NewsChannel 13 also reported that Mah Jong and poker were being played inside the residence, but the party of eight adults left around 3 a.m. the morning of the killing.
Police believe the killings may have been tied to Chinese organized crime.
