Harris plans to attend weekend fundraiser in Pittsfield
Vice President Kamala Harris still plans to attend a fundraiser in Pittsfield this weekend.
Harris was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the campaign appearance Saturday, but there were questions if she would keep that commitment after becoming the presumptive presidential nominee.
NewsChannel 13 reached out Tuesday afternoon to Berkshire County Democratic leader Sherwood Guernsey. He confirmed just before 4 p.m. that she will attend.
The event will feature performances by James Taylor and Yo-Yo Ma.
The event is sold out, according to NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle.
