The first woman to head up the FBI’s Albany field office is being promoted.
Special Agent in Charge Janeen DiGuiseppi is taking a new role as the Associate Director of the Insider Threat Program at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C.
She was promoted to head of the Albany field office in 2021.
She was more recently in charge of a federal investigation into the tampering of train tracks in Saratoga County.
That investigation is still underway, with the FBI offering $10,000 to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
