Hen running ‘a-fowl’ in Watervliet caught

A hen that was running “a-fowl” of the law this week has been captured in Watervliet.

The hen, which has been named “Feather Locklear” eluded police but finally was caught on Wednesday after a brief foot chase. She went to the big “hen house,” the police said in a post on their Facebook page.

Police believe that she was the sister of a hen that was found earlier in the week, which has been named “Hennifer Aniston.”

With the great hen caper concluded, police are reminding residents not to run “a-fowl” of the law by owning or possessing live farm animals.
