Hochul: COVID hospitalizations stable so far amid rising cases
Gov. Hochul says she is concerned about rising COVID cases and new variants in New York.
She says while numbers are ticking up, hospitalizations are stable.
Right now 78% of New Yorkers are fully vaccinated, and 53% who are eligible to get the booster, are boosted.
The Biden administration is considering expanding a second coronavirus booster shot to adults under 50 years of age. The FDA and CDC will have to sign off on the measure.
