Hochul: Tentative state budget deal reached
A tentative state budget deal is in place, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul.

The spending plan will be $237 billion, Hochul said.
Taxes will not be raised.
The budget will attempt to address the housing crisis, combat retail theft and the migrant crisis.
The governor and legislative leaders still have details to work out. The plan must then be passed by state lawmakers.
