Home search leads to drug charges for Queensbury woman

A Queensbury woman was arrested Wednesday on drug charges.

Police searched the home of Nicole E. Blanchard at the Montcalm Apartments on Burke Drive around 1 p.m., after several weeks of complaints about drug activity, they said.

Officers found crack cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, scales, packaging and other drug paraphernalia consistent with narcotic sales, police said.

Blanchard was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court and released on her own recognizance.
