Hudson Police seek man who tried to lure child into van

Hudson Police are looking for a man who told a 10-year-old child to get in his van.
Police received at call around noon on Thursday reporting a possible attempted kidnapping of a child. The child told officers that he was walking down Harry Howard Avenue in the area of the Crosswinds Apartments when a white van pulled up, police said. The driver was a white man who was reported to be in his 30s and spoke Spanish. He stopped near the child and told him to get into the van.
The child ran to his 13-year-old sister for safety. The girl witnessed the van stop but was too far away to hear what the driver said, according to police. A picture of the van was obtained through video surveillance.
The child and family are currently safe. The investigation is ongoing.
