Human remains found on Lenox Mountain have been identified as those of missing woman Susan Lockwood.

Lockwood, 66, went missing on Oct. 30.

A dog walking with their owner found evidence of human remains inside a boot on Friday.

Searchers continued to look over the next few days and found more human remains on Monday.

The medical examiner identified the remains on Wednesday.

The death remains under investigation, said investigators, but foul play is not suspected.
