Hussain juror says she never lost sight of her responsibility
Not only was Wednesday an emotional day for the family of the victims, it was also emotional for the jurors.
Andrea Austin – like the other jurors – voted for “guilty”. However, it was never about making someone accountable, she said. She wanted to make sure Hussain got a fair hearing.
She also said she never lost sight of her responsibility as a juror.
“I don’t think this sort of a decision is ever an easy one…I mean, you have a person’s life in your hands,” she said.
