SARATOGA SPRINGS – Firefighters in Saratoga Springs got a special visit from some iconic horses on Thursday. The Budweiser Clydesdales returned there for the first time since 2016.
The Clydesdales came to Congress Park. A large crowd came to see the horses in person. For some people, this is their first time getting a chance to see the horses in person.
There were eight male Budweiser Clydesdales traveling down Broadway to the fire station on Lake Avenue. There are also two Dalmatians.
Saratoga Eagle is the largest Budweiser distributor in New York. This past winter, they had a major fire at their warehouse. City firefighters were able to quickly respond. This was Saratoga Eagle’s way to give back to the fire department.
Officials from Saratoga Eagle say they had been working for nearly six months to bring the Clydesdales to Saratoga Springs.
