Inaugural farmers market comes to Albany
A new farmers market is coming to downtown Albany.
It’ll be on South Pearl Street inside MVP Arena.
20 to 30 vendors are scheduled to be at the market, selling organic produce and craft goods.
Albany County executive Dan McCoy says this is an exciting opportunity for local vendors and the downtown community.
It’s from noon until 4 o’clock.
The farmers market will only be held 4 times through the summer and fall.
