Hops Festival held at Indian Ladder Farms
Hops Festival held at Indian Ladder Farms
Indian Ladder Farms hosted a new festival for the first time this weekend.
The inaugural Wet Hop Festival started on Friday and wrapped up Sunday.
Hop growers across New York state were featured. The event was organized by the Hop Growers of New York.
Adam Kryder, executive director of the organization, said events such as this help raise awareness of the industry.
“With the help of our organization and Cornell AgriTech, we are breeding hops, so we can bring back commercial viability to New York state and increase the ability for New York agriculture to make an impact on the industry as a whole,” he said.
