Investigators checking if deadly Whitehall fire was set on purpose

Investigators are looking into whether a fire that killed a 10-year-old girl in Whitehall was set on purpose.

The fire started Wednesday morning at 5 Maple Street.

Fourth grader Airyonna Jabot was killed in the fire, according to the Whitehall School District.

Mental health counselors will be available throughout the week to support students.
