One of Ireland’s most honored youth marching band is here in the Capital Region this weekend.

NewsChannel 13 previously reported Mary and Tommie Leach, who moved to Albany in the 1950’s, worked to raise money for years to help the Irish youth marching band come to the United States with their music.

It is a tradition now passed on by their children, Tom, Sean and Ed, through the Mary Leach Memorial Classic Golf Tournament.

The 80-piece band, complete with a color guard, has been performing around the area since arriving in the U.S. last Sunday.
