Jack’s Drive-In in Wynantskill back open for 87th year

Jack's Drive-In in Wynantskill welcomed back hungry fans on Monday after their regular winter closing.

Just in time for the warmer weather, one of the Capital Region’s favorite burger and hot dog joints is back open.

Jack’s Drive-In in Wynantskill welcomed back hungry fans on Monday after their regular winter closing.

The stand fired up their grills for the first time back in 1938.

One of the most impressive parts about Jack’s is how quickly they turn around the orders. The customers in line weren’t waiting for more than a few minutes.

At its heart, Jack’s is a local burger joint but also features hot dogs, French fries and spectacular milkshakes.

What sets them apart is how they have perfected their recipes over the decades.
Located in Wynantskill, generations of families have eaten there in the nearly 90 years they have been in operation.
Instead of full-size burgers, they serve up sliders. On top of these mini burgers, you’ll find a mouthwatering assortment of fried onions, signature meat sauce, and all other things you love to sink your teeth into.

Hear from some hungry customers about why they couldnt wait for opening day, by watching the video of Steve Kuzjs story.
