Johnstown man charged with vehicular manslaughter

A Johnstown motorcyclist has been charged in a deadly DWI crash.

Richard Irelan, 45, crashed with a pickup truck Sunday evening, on the Northway Exit 15 off-ramp in Wilton.

Irelan’s passenger, Amanda Sullivan, 43, of Johnstown, sustained serious injuries and died at Saratoga Hospital.

Irelan’s blood alcohol level was .08% said New York State Police.

He was sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
