The judge in the Kevin Monahan murder case ruled against every motion raised by the defense, with one exception.
Judge Adam Michelini wants more information from Kevin Monahan’s attorney before allowing the accused murderer to visit the alleged crime scene.
Monahan is accused of shooting and killing Kaylin Gillis when she was a passenger in an SUV that mistakenly turned around in his driveway in Hebron. Kurt Mausert, Monahan’s attorney, asked the judge to let Monahan to visit his home so he could better prepare his defense.
The judge is waiting for Mausert to send a letter to the sheriff’s office explaining how he proposes the visit would work. This includes how close deputies would stay to Monahan during the visit and how he would be handcuffed and shackled.
Monahan is currently being held in jail without bail.
