Jury selection is starting for a man accused of murder in Albany.

Jeff Henderson from South Glens Falls is charged with killing Benjamin Rowe.

Rowe was a beloved member of the Albany music scene. He was a 2015 graduate of Guilderland High School.

Rowe’s murder was a random act of gun violence, according to investigators.

Henderson faces 25 years to life in prison if he is found guilty.

Henderson was scheduled to possibly plead guilty in April, but he did not show up for court after police said he refused to get on the bus at the jail.
